Accommodation

Hotel rates include VAT and breakfast, except for SGS Apartments. Rates are per night per room in Swedish Kronor (SEK). Hotel rooms have been reserved for delegates in the following hotels and have to be booked in advance on the online registration for the Conference.

1. Hotel Gothia Towers

A first class hotel with 704 rooms, of which 410 are in Gothia West Tower (inauguration March 2001) and 294 rooms in Gothia East Tower (extensive renovation 1997-2003). The great majority of the rooms are double rooms. The hotel are equipped with a business centre and also available are Genesis high speed Internet in every hotel room. SEK 139 per 24 hours or SEK 59 per hour and Telia Homerun e.g. wireless high speed Internet can be purchased in the reception. SEK 120 per 24 hours. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar on the 23:rd floor with a fantastic view of Göteborg and also a lobby bar. This hotel is next door to Göteborg Convention Centre.

2. Quality Hotel Panorama

A high standard hotel with an excellent cuisine within walking distance (approx. 800 meters) to Göteborg Convention Centre. On request the hotel offers free shuttle-bus service to/from the Göteborg Convention Centre. The hotel is equipped with a business centre and the following: internet access - ISDN, WLAN and Broadband – SHDSL. Available for quests are also fitness room, sauna, restaurant and bar.

3. Hotel Liseberg Heden

A one story popular hotel in the city centre and the Göteborg Convention Centre are within walking distance, (approx. 300 meters). In every room you will find: Free TV (with CNN and Film channels), a minibar, safety box, telephone, broadband (charge is 100 SEK/24h), shower, hair dryer, trousers press and iron.

4. Hotel Lorensberg

A 3 star family owned hotel within a stone’s throw of Göteborg Convention Centre and the cultural centre of Göteborg. Several restaurants close by. Walking distance, (approx. 300 meters) to Göteborg Convention Centre.

5. Spar Hotel Gårda

A low-cost hotel within walking distance (approx. 20 minutes) to Göteborg Convention Centre.The rooms all have a private shower and toilet, telephone, TV, Internet connection and hair dryer. The hotel has facilities such as sauna, bar and a gym.

6. SGS Apartments (Hostel)

Rooms with private facilities in a student hostel located about 15 minutes walk to Göteborg Convention Centre and the city centre. No breakfast included. Kitchen for common use is available.
